- Provide ongoing support for projects focused on continuous improvement, ensuring progress, addressing challenges, and implementing enhancements to optimize processes or products.
- Prepare packaging technical documents, including the Product Performance Qualification (PQP) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), to outline quality standards and assess potential risks in the packaging process.
- Review technical drawings and conduct tolerance stack analysis to ensure that all parts and components fit together correctly and meet design specifications without interfering with each other.
- Contribute to sustainability efforts.
- Help coordinate and perform when needed packaging testing and mold qualification activities.
- Drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the processes you handle, creating clear, step-by-step instructions, best practices, and protocols to ensure tasks are performed consistently, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
- Timely Delivery of Projects: Successfully managing and completing projects within agreed timelines, ensuring all milestones are met without delays.
- Collaboration and Communication: Consistently working well with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Product Development, Sales, and Creative) and effectively communicating updates, challenges, and solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing changes that drive greater efficiency and quality.
- Customer and Stakeholder Satisfaction: Meeting or exceeding the expectations of internal and external stakeholders, including the Product Development team, sales teams, and customers, with each project or product update.
- Documentation and Reporting: Consistently maintaining clear, organized, and up-to-date documentation for all aspects of the packaging development process.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles, allowing for effective design, sourcing, and problem-solving in packaging projects.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, track progress, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Skill in working effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Product Development, Marketing, and Sales) to achieve shared goals and resolve any challenges that arise.

- Required: Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Preferred: Proficiency in Spanish or Mandarin is a strong plus, especially for collaboration with international teams and suppliers.
- The first 30 days M-F in Dallas office
- A minimum of 3 days a week (M-F) in office. Days in office are determined by your manager.
- Work hours are 8 hours a day, with a starting time of 8:00 a.m., a one-hour lunch break, and an end time of 5:00 p.m
- Potential travel to US, Mexico, and China suppliers and partners as needed. You must provide your passport.
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Paid packaging or engineering experience preferred. Experience in an internship or academic project related to packaging or product development is acceptable.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Pro/E) is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
