The Assembler I performs a variety of assembly tasks for electronic and mechanical components, ranging from repetitive to moderately complex operations. This entry-level position follows established procedures and is closely supervised, offering hands-on experience in manufacturing and production support.Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble components such as modules, boards, panels, frames, and cables using visual aids, diagrams, and written instructions.
- Use hand/power tools, jigs, and saws to set layouts and perform assembly tasks.
- Conduct continuity checks and basic quality inspections to meet specifications.
- Disassemble, rework, and test prototype assemblies under supervision.
- Operate automatic or semi-automatic machines in production or distribution environments.
- Support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and product storage as needed.
- Report equipment malfunctions and follow established operational procedures.
- Entry-level role; no prior experience required, though basic knowledge of production systems is preferred.
- Ability to read and follow assembly diagrams, schematics, and written instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use common assembly tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
