Job Overview:The Onboarding Coordinator provides critical support to the Human Resources department by managing and delivering a seamless onboarding experience for all new employees. This role ensures compliance, accuracy, and consistency across onboarding processes while fostering a positive, welcoming environment for new hires.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires from offer acceptance through successful integration into the organization.
  • Administer and maintain onboarding checklists, documentation, and employee records in the HRIS/ATS (Dayforce experience a plus).
  • Ensure all pre and post employment paperwork and compliance requirements are completed accurately and timely.
  • Reviews I-9 and E-verify documentation thoroughly to ensure that appropriate and authentic documents are obtained
  • Initiates and ensures compliance with all pre-employment requirements, including Temps.
  • Partner with HR, IT, payroll, and hiring managers to ensure new hires have access to systems, equipment, and resources on day one.
  • Prepare materials such as new hire packets, reports, and communications related to onboarding.
  • Support communication of company policies, procedures, and benefits information to employees.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation sessions, including schedules, welcome materials, and presentations.
  • Assist with HR projects and provide support for recruitment and other HR functions as needed.
Minimum Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of HR experience with emphasis on onboarding, recruitment, or employee experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/ATS systems (Dayforce experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
