Hourly Rate: $19.00/hourPosition OverviewMorgan Park Sports Center, managed by ASM Global, is seeking a certified and passionate Yoga Instructor to lead group yoga classes in a dynamic, inclusive, and outdoor-friendly environment. The ideal candidate is experienced in teaching yoga to diverse populations and is committed to promoting wellness, mindfulness, and physical health. This is a part-time hourly role requiring a minimum of 2 classes per week, with flexibility for daytime, weekend, and holiday availability.ResponsibilitiesInstruct scheduled yoga classes, beginning and ending on timeProvide clear, safe, and engaging instruction for all levelsEducate participants on breathing techniques, proper alignment, and mindfulnessPrepare appropriate music, props, and materials before each sessionOffer posture modifications and support to meet individual needsFoster a positive, inclusive, and supportive class environmentEnsure class safety and adherence to all facility policiesReport any concerns, incidents, or equipment needs to managementComplete other job responsibility and duties as assignedQualificationsCurrent Yoga Alliance or equivalent yoga certification requiredCPR/AED certification (Red Cross or equivalent) requiredPrevious experience teaching yoga in a group settingKnowledge of human anatomy, yoga philosophy, and safe teaching techniquesStrong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAbility to motivate and engage participants of all skill levelsPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing, walking, stretching, and demonstrating posturesAbility to lift or move up to 25 pounds and assist participants as neededEndurance to instruct active classes for extended periodsReasonable accommodations provided as required by law.Hourly Rate: $19.00/hourBenefitsPaid Leave AccrualSick Time Accrual401(k) eligibility after meeting program requirementsHow to ApplyAll candidates must apply through our official online system.
