Hourly Rate: $19.00/hourPosition OverviewMorgan Park Sports Center, in partnership with ASM Global, is seeking an energetic and skilled Fitness Instructor to lead engaging group fitness classes such as strength training, cardio, bootcamp, interval training, or Zumba. The instructor will foster a fun and safe workout environment while providing quality fitness programming to the community. This is a part-time, hourly role requiring a minimum of 2 classes per week, including availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.ResponsibilitiesLead scheduled fitness classes in a professional and timely mannerDeliver safe, effective, and fun workouts tailored to participant abilitiesDemonstrate exercises and explain proper form and techniquePrepare class music, equipment, and handouts in advanceAnswer participant questions and provide fitness educationMonitor participant safety and respond to incidents when neededAdhere to and enforce all facility and safety policiesProvide feedback and report any issues to managementComplete other job responsibility and duties as assignedQualificationsCurrent group fitness certification (ACE, AFAA, or equivalent) requiredCPR/AED certification (Red Cross or equivalent) requiredPrevious experience teaching group fitness classesAbility to teach a range of formats (e.g., bootcamp, cardio, HIIT, Zumba)Strong communication and leadership skillsMotivational presence and ability to engage diverse groupsDance experience is a plus but not required.Physical RequirementsFrequent movement, including standing, jumping, lifting, and demonstrating exercisesAbility to lift/move up to 25 pounds regularlyEndurance to teach high-intensity classesReasonable accommodations provided as required by law.Hourly Rate: $19.00/hourBenefitsPaid Leave AccrualSick Time Accrual401(k) once eligibility is metHow to ApplyAll applicants must apply through our official online system.
