- Create, develop and implement strategic growth plans and initiatives
- Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, including analysis of internal operations, while identifying areas for cost reduction and process enhancement
- Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives
- Work cross-functionally to efficiently develop company budgets and forecasts, provide access to project finance information, and provide oversight of risk compliance and reporting
- Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Create and implement KPIs across the organization as appropriate
- Manage finance personnel and oversee financial IT systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory entities
- Oversight of HR operations including payroll, benefits, recruitment, and internal staffing
- Experience creating and cultivating a collaborative environment, fostering a high-performance culture through, coaching, training and development
- Other duties as assigned
- Five or more years of experience in executive leadership roles
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
- Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field highly preferred
- CPA, CMA or CGMA certification a plus
- Experience adhering to GAAP required; IFRS experience desired.
- Prior P&L ownership experience and experience with mergers and acquisitions, as well as investor relations preferred
