- Coordinates the preparation of the agency's biennium budget & acts as Ohio Budget Enterprise Application Budget Preparer.
- Supervises assigned staff.
- Coordinates the development & monitoring of all expense & revenue projections for Fiscal Year budgets; compiles annual budget allotments for Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS) & Ohio Office of Budget Management (OBM) required reporting.
- Monitors budgeted allotments & projections for variance; prepares in-depth analyses of purchasing & expenditure patterns (Payroll/Benefits, Personal Service, Supplies, Fleet, Travel, Communications, Maintenance, Hearing Cost, Leases, overall Departmental Costs, etc.) & impact to agency business processes & fiscal standing; monitors cash inflows & outflow & revenue reporting & practices; prepares project cost/benefit analyses using financial & statistical modeling.
- Develops program plans for cost reductions & implements performance measures; assists in preparation & presentation of the Commission’s Administrative Cost Rates; coordinates the integration of Fiscal systems upgrades (Ohio Buys, OAKS Financials (FIN), Human Capital Management (HCM), Asset Management (AM) module upgrades; reviews & requests modifications to OAKS budget allotment & control ledgers for purchasing & Accounts Payable (AP) needs.
