DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our students. Your creativity and enthusiasm will help shape the educational experiences of our preschoolers.Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of the children.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Manage classroom activities effectively, ensuring all children are engaged and participating.
  • Provide care for students, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met throughout the day.
  • Incorporate physical education into daily activities to promote healthy habits and motor skills development.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
  • Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to provide a conducive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with special education needs as required.
  • Instill a love for Christ, and weave Catholic teachings into lesson plans and daily activities.
  • Knowledge and ability to change diapers and help with potty training.
Requirements
  • CDA or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
  • Ability to create lesson plans that align with educational standards while being engaging for young learners.
  • Excellent classroom management skills to maintain an orderly learning environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all children, including those with special education needs.
