Test Engineering TechnicianOverview:We are hiring a Test Engineering Technician to support environmental testing and inspection of spaceflight hardware. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical testing within a fast-paced aerospace environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform environmental testing on spaceflight hardware, including static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration
  • Inspect mechanical and electrical components using tools such as torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters
  • Assist in writing technical work instructions for testing and assembly procedures
  • Support and adhere to quality management systems, specifically AS9100 standards
Must-Have Skills:
  • Environmental testing experience across various methods
  • Proficiency with inspection tools and measurement devices
  • Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards
  • Ability to follow and contribute to technical work instructions
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Previous experience in the aerospace industry
  • Exposure to RF systems or space antenna technologies
Work Environment:
  • Manufacturing and testing environment with tight program deliverables
  • Collaborative team focused on precision and innovation in space applications
