
Test Engineering Technician

- Perform environmental testing on spaceflight hardware, including static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration
- Inspect mechanical and electrical components using tools such as torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters
- Assist in writing technical work instructions for testing and assembly procedures
- Support and adhere to quality management systems, specifically AS9100 standards
- Environmental testing experience across various methods
- Proficiency with inspection tools and measurement devices
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards
- Ability to follow and contribute to technical work instructions
- Previous experience in the aerospace industry
- Exposure to RF systems or space antenna technologies
- Manufacturing and testing environment with tight program deliverables
- Collaborative team focused on precision and innovation in space applications
- This role supports a rapidly growing aerospace organization that has doubled in size over the past year. The Longmont site serves as the RF Center of Excellence, contributing to advanced space technologies including the Falccon Broadband Space Antenna. The team is scaling under new leadership with a strong focus on space applications and contract priming.
