The Cashier/Receptionist Team Lead is responsible for making sure all our stores are fully staffed from open to close, with a receptionist/cashier. The Cashier/Receptionist Team Lead is responsible for making sure our phones are being answered in a timely manner, and payments for service and parts, as well as deposits on vehicles, are handled accurately.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Cashier/Receptionist Team Lead is accountable for performing the duties and responsibilities described below. The list, however, is not necessarily an exhaustive description of the duties and responsibilities associated with the job.
- Create and distribute weekly staffing schedule
- Listen to cashier phone calls for accuracy and coaching opportunities
- Monitor / manage overtime
- Approve and send time cards to H/R, weekly
- Onboard / train new hires; communicate new processes to team as needed; complete 30/60/90-day reviews
- Collect end of day money bags and bring to office for safe lock-up; drop off opening shift’s bank bag
- Help guide and support the Cashier/Receptionist team including training, scheduling, and when needed handling of staff changes in a professional and respectful manner
- Calculate monthly spiffs and review with employees
- Coordinate scheduled time off for staff
- Keep team morale high
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed
- The Cashier/Receptionist Team Lead is expected to cover the front desk for vacations, call-ins, or any time a store may be short staffed
- Keep reception areas stocked
- General housekeeping – maintaining a clean and efficient work area free of debris and clutter
- Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures, including the dress code
- Perform duties as workload necessitates

- Communicate regularly with supervisor about department issues verbally and/or in written form
- Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload
