
Culinary Director

- Oversee all dining operations
- Follow corporate menus and manage food inventory and budget
- Help plan weekly menus
- Ensure proper food prep, sanitation, and handling
- Adjust meals for special dietary needs
- Keep kitchen and storage areas clean and organized
- Cook food to correct temperatures and standards
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines
- Prepare meals and bakery items on time
- Handle special diets using IDDSI standards
- Complete daily prep tasks and assist with events
- Maintain a “clean as you go” attitude demonstrated by a clean work area.
- Clean and sanitize equipment after each use or per the routine cleaning schedule.
- Hire, train, and supervise dining staff
- Provide feedback and conduct performance reviews
- Encourage teamwork and positive work environment
- Maintain a clean, welcoming dining area
- Greet residents and encourage social interaction
- Listen to feedback and resolve concerns professionally
- Accommodate special requests and help plan private events
- Performance Management Skills
- Working knowledge of basic Microsoft applications
- Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree - Food Service
