Responsibilities:The H-E-B Creative Studio shapes our brand stories through expert editing and post-production, bringing together footage, sound, graphics, and photography into final content that connects with our customers. The Editor role is a hands-on creative and technical position, responsible for crafting polished, on-brand assets for video, social, broadcast, in-store, and photography-driven campaigns.As an Editor, you’ll work closely with creatives, producers, and other studio partners to assemble, refine, and finish content that’s strategically aligned and visually engaging. You’ll handle multiple stages of post-production from initial rough cuts to color, sound, and graphics integration and will support clean, organized workflows that keep projects moving efficiently. This role also plays a part in establishing and maintaining our Media Asset Management (MAM) system for collaborative working files and delivering final assets into our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.Once you’re eligible, you’ll become an Owner in the company, so we’re looking for commitment, professionalism, and creativity that elevates every project.   • A highly skilled editor with strong creative instincts and technical expertise in video and still-image editing
  • A multi-disciplined post-production professional who can move between video editing, color correction, motion graphics, and still retouching

What is the work?Editing & Post-Production:
  • Edit a variety of content types from initial assembly through final delivery including brand campaigns, product spots, social videos, and in-store content
  • Perform color correction and grading to maintain brand consistency and visual quality
  • Apply and integrate branded motion graphics, supers, titles, and lower thirds using motion templates or custom design
  • Edit and retouch still photography for campaigns, product launches, and editorial use
  • Sync, mix, and balance audio, including VO, music, and sound effects
  • Organize, label, and maintain timelines, bins, and sequences for clarity and team handoff
Collaboration & Workflow:
  • Partner with producers, creatives, and DP / Videographers to understand project goals and creative direction
  • Collaborate with the studio team to integrate AI-assisted editing and post workflows where applicable
  • Prepare and deliver assets for finishing, color, mix, basic VFX, and collaborate with external vendors when needed
  • Support the setup and upkeep of MAM and DAM systems to ensure files are stored, searchable, and accessible for future use
  • Maintain technical standards for exports, encoding, and compression across multiple platforms
  • Stays up to date with specific social platform specs and best practices
What is your background?
  • 5+ years of experience in post-production or editorial roles
  • Proven portfolio of editing and post-production work that shows storytelling ability, pacing, and polish
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop; working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics
  • Experience with color correction and grading (Resolve or integrated workflows)
  • Familiarity with asset management best practices and collaborative editing environments
