Position DescriptionUses advanced technical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair plant production equipment. Performs all duties associated with the setup of a variety of production equipment to produce quality products. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC to join our dynamic manufacturing team.Job ResponsibilitiesAssist in setting up and preparing CNC machines for production runsProgram and input data into CNC machinesInstructs, monitors and communicates requirements for safety, quality and productionWorks closely with engineers and possibly outside vendors to resolve complex processor equipment issues in a cost effective and timely mannerInspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specificationsUse precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesReport any defects or issues to the supervisor/managerAssist in the routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machinesFollow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environmentPerforms other duties as assignedJob Skill RequirementsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Skill and a basic knowledge of tooling practices and applicationsDemonstrated leadership skills, teamwork, interpersonal and communication skillsBasic understanding of CNC machinery and manufacturing processesAbility to read and understand technical drawings and blueprintsGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityAttention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Strong work ethic and reliabilityAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamWillingness to learn and take directionAdvanced level computer skillsFluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or locationEducationHigh School diploma in or equivalent education and experienceCertifications preferredExperience Requirements3 years of technical experience using mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skillsCertifications PreferredForklift certification requiredPhysical & Environmental Requirements (Power Division Standard)May be required to lift or carry products, parts, and/or other materials of various sizes and weights.
