- Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures, protocols, and inspection checklists aligned with project specifications, company standards, and industry best practices.
- Conduct inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations to ensure compliance with design documents, codes, and standards.
- Review submittals, shop drawings, and commissioning documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, commissioning, and vendor teams to identify quality-related issues and develop corrective/preventive actions.
- Perform quality audits and site walkdowns; document non-conformances and track resolution to closure.
- Maintain detailed QA/QC documentation and reports, ensuring proper recordkeeping of inspections, test results, and compliance metrics.
- Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and Integrated Systems Testing (IST) as required.
- Collaborate with stakeholders during punchlist walk-throughs and track punchlist item resolution.
- Support project turnover processes and final QA/QC documentation packages.
- Promote a strong culture of safety and quality on-site.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent technical experience.
- 3+ years of QA/QC experience in mission-critical environments or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, and control systems.
- Familiarity with commissioning processes and QA/QC lifecycle from design to turnover.
- Experience with quality control standards such as ISO 9001 or LEED is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with QA/QC tools and software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, BIM 360, Microsoft Office).
- Ability to work onsite and travel as needed to project locations.
- Certification in QA/QC, commissioning (CxA), or construction quality management.
- Prior experience working in live/active data center environments.
- Familiarity with Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, or TIA-942 standards.
- OSHA 10/30 or other safety training certification.
