Job Posting SummaryBaptist Health is looking to add a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville to join our Float Team! This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity. This position will be based at various Baptist Health locations.This Diagnostic Medical Sonographer must be comfortable working at up to 3 campuses.   • Performing high quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures.
  • Promoting good will amongst co-workers and other departments.
  • Maintaining a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
  • Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures.
  • Administering medications as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
  • Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care.
  • Participating in continuing education and training programs.
Experience Required:
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonongrapher experience required (2-3 years)
  • Experience with Vascular Ultrasound
  • Ultrasound experience (2-3 years)
  • Experience working in a hospital setting
  • Customer Service Experience

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Preferred Or
  • Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography ARRT (VS) Preferred Or
