Job Posting Summary*We are offering a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, if hired.*Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to our Ultrasound Department at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. A Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is responsible for using imaging equipment and soundwaves to form images of the body's organs and tissue. This is a full-time shift of 1:30pm - 10:00pm, Tuesday - Friday, and 10:00am - 10:00pm, Saturday.Baptist Medical Center was awarded Ultrasound Accreditation Program by the American College of Radiology.This Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will be responsible for the following:
  • Performing high quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures.
  • Promoting good will among co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
  • Staying compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
  • Identifing, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

  • 1-2 years Customer Service Experience

Licenses and Certifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
  • Registered Technologist in Sonography ARRT (S) Required Or
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Songrapher (ARDMS) Required Or
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Preferred Or
  • Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography ARRT (VS) Preferred Or
