Postdoctoral Scholar SeriesThe Department of Neurology at the University of California, Irvine, invites applications for a post-doctoral scholar position in the laboratory of Dr. S. Ahmad Sajjadi MD, PhD. The appointment is for 1 year with the possibility of extension upon satisfactory performance. We are seeking a highly motivated investigator with previous experience in neuroimaging analysis (MRI +/- PET scan). The candidate should be extremely efficient in working with neuroimaging analysis software packages. Priority will be given to candidates with a recent PhD in neuroscience or related fields and strong organizational and communication skills. The successful applicant will be supported by NIH R01 grants dedicated to studies of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias in Sajjadi lab and beyond. The position requires an individual who is an effective team player, highly organized, and innovative. Positions are dependent upon extramural funding and require a minimum appointment of one year. Rank and salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Initial appointments are for two years, and renewal is based on availability of support.
