**Standard Work Hours are 4am - 4pm working 3, off 3, work 2, off 2**Summary/Objective:
The Material Handler, Lettershop will be responsible to support the efforts of mail production and ensuring all machines have the necessary and correct components. Ensure areas of the production room is neat, organized and set up for production runs.Essential Functions:
- Reading and understanding the work ticket in order to provide the correct materials to the correct machines as needed
- Reading and understanding the production schedule in order to proactively stage materials for the next job
- Ensure all machines have enough stock items to continue running the job without stopping; never letting the machine run out of stock items.
- Removes finished pallets from the lettershop placing them in an identified area organized as required
- Removes material(s) from the lettershop when no longer needed and return to identified area in the warehouse
- Remove empty APC’s/Roll Carts and return to designated area in Digital Print
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Removes recycling bins from the lettershop and Loads on recycling trucks or near the shredder as required.
- Pallet jack is primary equipment for moving materials
- Strong quality of work
- Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area
- Effectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final output
- Reviews schedule for jobs assigned daily; reports issues back to Supervisor
- Follow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation procedures

- High School Diploma, or GED, or an equivalent combination of education/ experience.
- Experience with inventory management
- Experience with safely moving large, heavy pallets
- Basic computer knowledge
- Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions.
