- Coordinate and manage remote deployment projects, including timelines, resources, and change control.
- Execute remote rack, stack, power, and cabling planning for equipment in critical facilities.
- Troubleshoot and support hardware installations remotely, including RMA activities and vendor coordination.
- Maintain and update DCIM tools and infrastructure documentation.
- Develop and oversee Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for remote installations and maintenance.
- Manage inventory of copper, fiber, and power cabling with minimal supervision.
- Ensure proper device placement planning based on power, cooling, and structured cabling requirements.
- Interface with vendors for remote installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of equipment.
- Provide risk and quality assessments for deployment plans.
- Support logistics for hardware shipping and receiving at data center locations.
- 3–5 years of experience deploying switches, routers, and servers in data center environments.
- Strong understanding of IP networking, including HSD, Voice, and Data Networking.
- Familiarity with power distribution systems (PDU, ATS, UPS) and HVAC dynamics.
- Proven ability to manage infrastructure projects and maintain accurate documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) and ticketing tools.
- Knowledge of IP protocol suite (ARP, IP, TCP, DNS, SNMP).
- Strong vendor management and infrastructure planning capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to change and make decisions in dynamic environments.
