  • Design, develop, and maintain complex software systems while leading teams and mentoring junior engineers
  • Expert in all stages of software coding, including designing, coding, debugging, and implementing software solutions
  • Oversee software development lifecycle and ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, optimize existing systems, and implement new features based on user feedback and industry trends
  • Implement advanced signal processing and geolocation algorithms with efficient software, testing with real data, and providing applications to front-line customer facilities
  • Able to work unsupervised with minimal direction and take the initiative to remain current with the latest technologies and industry best practices
A key responsibility is staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies and experimenting with new technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into RRC projects. RRC personnel can expect to work across all functional areas: systems engineering, development, integration and test, deployment and O&M, and experience the direct mission feedback from the customer and seeing your project provide real-world contributions that make a significant difference. You will be encouraged and expected to propose innovative ideas that you believe will improve the applications and frameworks within which you are working.What required background will make you successful?
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph
  • US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in signals intelligence, electronic warfare, or related technical analysis field
  • Highly proficient in modern software engineering practices for testability and readability
  • Highly proficient in C++ and Python for engineering and scientific applications in LINUX environments
  • Experience providing technical leadership and guidance to junior team member and mentoring other engineers to grow in their technical abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to design the architecture of software systems to ensure they achieve functionality, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements
Preferred Skills:
  • Current and active Top-Secret Clearance with a polygraph
  • DevOps and Cloud computing Experience (Gitlab, CI/CD, CVE mitigations, Docker, Kubernetes, PIP)
  • Agile development processes and leadership
