- Assist the Service Manager in managing the service department’s operations, personnel, and customer service.
- Support the implementation of service standards and procedures to align with the dealership’s goals and objectives.
- Assist in training and developing service department staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Monitors the progress of each repair order and communicates to service advisor and or customer about vehicles concerns
- Work closely with the store manager to run day-to-day operations.
- Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
- Ensures all compliance are answered and maintained on CARS (Claim Accountability and Reporting System).
- Hold bi-weekly department meetings.
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Ensures that the work areas and customer waiting area are kept clean.
- Ensures that all customers are greeted promptly and given fair estimates on costs and time required for repairs and maintenance.
- Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines.
- Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Must be able to climb ladders.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
- Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day.
- Must have good close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
