This is where you can do your best work.Join us at the intersection of saving and sustaining lives— where your purpose accelerates our mission.Your Role at BaxterWe are looking for a Director, HR Business Partner, who develops strong relationships with the teams they support and delivers integrated and inclusive HR thought-leadership in areas such as: culture, DE&I, engagement, HR strategy development, organization design, talent management, change management, managerial coaching and driving cyclical HR processes.The Director HR Business Partner will support the Digital Solutions & Technical Services team and is responsible for supporting and driving the business strategy through practical talent solutions. The Director, HRBP acts as an employee champion, change agent and develops a demonstrable knowledge base of their business partners’ functions and strategic objectives.What you'll be doingDevelops and drives HR plans and strategies to support achievement of strategic objectives, current and future talent needsDrives and performs a lifecycle approach to talent management focused on talent acquisition, onboarding, development, performance management, succession planning, internal mobility, retention, leveraging people analytics and insightsDevelop thoughtful, integrated approaches to promote diversity and inclusion in talent attraction, development, and retentionDrive overall implementation of plans and strategies, continually implements effectivenessAdvise with management on a variety of HR and business-related issues, both strategically and operationallyPartner with the VP and Senior Leadership team to drive effective organizational alignment and processes to enable strong partnerships with key functionsPartner with the Senior Leadership team to lead change management efforts and ensure leadership and team effectivenessProvide executive coaching and development to senior leadersDrive an effective engagement strategy and action planning that reinforces the culture and behaviorsUse data and analytics in order to turn storytelling into insights, recommendations and actionsCreate and support an environment where trust, transparency, credibility, and integrity are recognized as key factors in building long-term positive relationships between the organization, its employees and leadersServes as a consultant to employees and managers on a variety of issues such as training needs, performance management, talent management, engagement and employee relationsLead a team of HR Business PartnersAbility to travelWhat you'll bringBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. MBA or Master’s degree in an HR field preferredShould have at least 8-10 years of HR experience that includes at least 5 years of generalist experience. Health Care, Field Services, or Technology background preferred. Direct involvement with senior business executivesStrong leadership and influence skills, and the ability to inspire changeDemonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with management team and to coach and influence decision making of senior leadersStrong project management skills and results orientationGood eye for business and judgmentDemonstrated ability to help define, translate and complete an organization’s strategyHistory of delivering resultsExcellent communication and listening skillsSolid knowledge of HR strategies, practices and policiesDemonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflictAbility to adapt and tailor communication style for your audienceDemonstrated ability to thrive and manage ambiguity – dealing with issues that do not always have a process or a system in placeDemonstrated ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionsAbility to travelBaxter is committed to supporting the needs for flexibility in the workplace. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $160,000 - $220,000 USD annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
