Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by observing and reporting any unusual activity, responding to inquiries, and delivering exceptional customer service.   • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and credentials, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related activities and access control.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of visitors, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by the site.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Support emergency response activities in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to provide proof as required by the client.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
