If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead a multidisciplinary team of mechanical and electrical technicians, as well as controls engineers, in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.You Will:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel on 2nd shift.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, robotics, conveyors, and facility systems.
  • Prioritize and assign work orders based on production needs and equipment criticality.
  • Collaborate with day shift and engineering teams to ensure smooth shift transitions and issue resolution.
  • Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and PLC/controls systems.
  • Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Work with controls engineers to implement automation improvements and resolve system faults.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase equipment uptime and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives, 5S, and TPM programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of labor, parts usage, and downtime.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling major repairs and shutdown activities.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new maintenance staff.
You Bring:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial).(highly advantageous).
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC/automation systems (Allen-Bradley preferred).
  • Experience in an automotive or high-volume manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in CMMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
