- Manages a variety of tasks related to the identification, screening and selection of employees
- Largely responsible for transactional, multi-hire of similar profile searches
- May focus on large class hiring
- Recruiting generalist able to fill multiple, technical areas
- May generate leads by conducting research and/or utilizing a variety of resources and tools
- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits Screens and qualifies candidates to present to the businesses.
- Mines the Internet for passive and active job seekers in technical and professional positions
- Screens candidates for placement criteria and provides written summary of skills and abilities to hiring area
- Identifies candidates for consistent/ repetitive recruiting efforts
- Builds and maintains recruiting networks with external and internal sources to create a diversified pipeline of talent
- Establish relationships with front line managers
- Provides input for monthly reporting of all recruiting activity, highlighting successes and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Negotiates offer with final candidate
- Provides support and initiates new hire process
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 3 years of corporate/technical recruiting experience
- Government contract recruiting experience is a plus, but not necessary
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive sourcing tactics and substantial initiative
- Excellent time management abilities and a proven ability to meet deadlines
