- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in communicating with non-technical audiences

- Minimum of two years' post-secondary education or relevant work experience
- Completion of Harvard IT Academy Project Management Foundations course (or external equivalent) preferred
- Work is performed in an office setting
- The ideal candidate works best within a team environment, is a self-starter, and can handle multiple projects. The candidate should have experience with multiple digital humanities tools and methodologies
- Facilitate outreach to faculty across various disciplines to promote digital humanities methods and tools for research
- Organize and run workshops with colleagues in other departments to support researchers
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of select digital humanities projects, including coordinating project requirements, communicating with stakeholders, tracking timelines, and ensuring deliverables are met
- Cultivate relationships with external partners and facilitate collaborations between faculty, libraries, and other campus units. Pursue grant and funding opportunities to support digital initiatives
- Offer technical support and training to faculty, staff, and students on digital tools and platforms. Troubleshoot issues and assist users in applying technologies to research and teaching
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the center's strategic plan and assessment of digital humanities programs and resources
- Abide by and follow the Harvard University IT technical standards, policies and Code of Conduct
- Paid Time Off: 3-4 weeks of accrued vacation time per year (3 weeks for support staff and 4 weeks for administrative/professional staff), 12 accrued sick days per year, 12.5 holidays plus a Winter Recess in December/January, 3 personal days per year (prorated based on date of hire), and up to 12 weeks of paid leave for new parents who are primary care givers.
