- Operate Front Desk and POS register according to Recreation Center procedures and policy.
- Assist with events and activities lead by Attendants.
- Responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness of the Recreation Center by performing custodial duties including, but not limited to lifting, sweeping, disposing of waste, and vacuuming.
- Assist with programming events and activities directed by Rec Center Mgr/Asst Mgr.
- Open and close the Recreation Center as scheduled according to procedure.
- Always presents a professional appearance and attitude and maintains a high standard of customer service.
- Maintain inventory and record use of equipment and supplies.
- Assist in enforcing Recreation Center policies to the patrons.
- Adhere to all safety and risk management policies, including wearing required personal protective equipment while performing tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of weight and fitness equipment use, and repair preferred.
- Ability to acquire CPR/First Aid certification within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to acquire Food handling certification within 30 days of hire.
- Experience with cash handling and the ability to acquire Cash Handling certification within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to obtain a valid Arizona Driver’s License within 30 days of hire and comply with the company Driver Safety Program.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, as well as social media platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge and experience with Word and email programs.
- Ability to work various schedules including holidays, weekends, day and evening shifts.
