We are searching for a dedicated, self-motivated professional engineer (PE) to join our collaborative team.As a part of our diverse team, you will be involved in various projects such as site design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, reservoir design and permitting, irrigation systems, transportation infrastructure, geotechnical assessments, public involvement, and construction supervision. You will also have the chance to contribute to project management, client communication, and proposal creation.ResponsibilitiesLead and complete engineering design tasks utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3DCreate construction plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, and bid packagesHandle regulatory permitting with entities like EPA, State DEQs, and the U.S. Army Corps of EngineersOversee and participate in fieldwork, including surveying, site inspections, and construction managementEnsure quality control and provide technical oversight of engineering outputsEngage in proposal writing, marketing endeavors, and regular client interactionsGuide junior staff and collaborate across various disciplinesSupport field construction efforts by reviewing contractor submittals, pay applications, and daily logsMake informed decisions on design approaches, project scheduling, and budget allocationRequirementsActive Professional Engineer (PE) license in Montana and/or Wyoming (mandatory)BS or MS degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field (from an ABET-accredited program)Experience of 6–15 years in civil or environmental engineeringProficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (highly preferred)Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilitiesCapability to work independently and as part of a teamEfficiency in managing multiple tasks within specified budgets and deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelDedicated to continual learning, collaboration, and providing quality serviceDesirable QualitiesExemplifies company values of service, quality, and integrityDetail-oriented and responsive to client requirementsReceptive to constructive feedback and collaborative effortsDemonstrates leadership and mentoring skillsExperience in business development or project management is advantageous
