We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join an HR team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the company's human resources functions and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Policy and Procedure Adherence:
- Stay current with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
- Benefits Administration:
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
- Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and facilitate open enrollment processes.
- Compensation Management:
- Conduct salary surveys to ensure competitive compensation structures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compensation strategies and structures.
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and participate in the recruitment process as needed.
- Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
- Employee Relations:
- Address employee concerns and grievances, conducting investigations when necessary.
- Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement.
- Performance Management:
- Support performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
- Collaborate with managers to identify training and development needs.
- HR Recordkeeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Prepare reports related to HR metrics and analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in human resources, with a focus on HR policies, benefits, and compensation.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
