Structural concrete background (grade beams, concrete slabs, piers, etc)Project Manager
· Plan and direct the operational execution of GC’s larger projects including managing all resources (primarily subs) so that projects/jobs are completed on time, on budget, and with excellent quality and customer service.
· Work with GC’s superintendents who are directly responsible for all field construction operations.
· Work with the GC’s scheduler on the planning, scheduling, and dispatching of inhouse resources.
· Order and dispatch materials and equipment.
· Provide consistent, timely, quality communication with the customer and project team.· Make sure all issues are identified, communicated, and resolved.
· Manage CO process and ensure with sales’ help CO’s are approved and executed.
· Send weekly project status reports to project teams.
· Ensure all billing and paperwork required for job is completed.
· Ensure Schedule Board and CRM are fully updated including creating daily Job Tickets.Job P&L
· Manage jobs to meet job profit goals.
· Ensure accurate job costing including measuring and reporting on individual job profit weekly.SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Must be proficient reading plans and working on commercial construction projects.
· Able to read plans, details, and elevations.
· Able to verify existing conditions, layout, and elevations.
· Able to confirm layout and grades as per plans
· Proficient project management software and portals (i.e., Construct Connect and Procore).
· Must have the ability to multitask and stay organized.
· Must understand construction management and billing processes.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook.
· Must be able to sit at desk and work on keyboard throughout the dayEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
· 5+ years of working as project manager or equivalent for or with commercial contractors.
· 3+ Structural concrete experience preferred.
· Asphalt experience, preferred.
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.GROWTH PATH
