
Manager, Electrical Engineering

- Responsible for coordinating with inside sales and the PMO to ensure work activities are planned using the appropriate resources and materials
- Responsible to develop, maintain and manage project schedules for projects less than $300k
- Support Sales & Marketing team by assisting in preparing quotes to include hours for completion, estimation of difficulty of project, and material as needed
- Mid-level position managing day-to-day activities of a group of 5-8 engineers
- Provide technical support for engineers as needed
- Assist in design and document reviews for engineering
- Assist in developing monthly shipping forecasts
- Ensure engineers adhere to the Quality Assurance Program
- Act as a liaison to outside vendors; answers questions, arrange meetings (as needed), review vendor documentation for correctness and completeness
- Recognize and drive process improvements to ensure continuous operational excellence
- Establish and promote a culture of positive employee engagement and effectively manage employee performance and development
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience with a minimum of 3 years managing a technical based team is required
- 3 - 5 years of prior nuclear Commercial Grade Dedication experience highly preferred
- Must have thorough knowledge of the Nuclear/Power Generation industry to include 10CFR50 Appendix B Quality Assurance programs, NUREG and EPRI guidelines and documents along with IEEE and UL Standards
- Must possess related technical background with the ability to manage and direct a team of Engineers. Background in the functional testing and inspections of electrical, electronic and mechanical components preferred
