How You’ll Make an Impact
Dudek is seeking a hands-on EH&S Manager to be a part of our growing team to support and implement environmental health and safety training programs initiatives across our firm. As part of a three-person EH&S team, this position plays a critical role in leading the design, development and internal tracking of EHS Programs for Dudek and driving continuous safety improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities
EHS Training Program Implementation & Tracking
- Responsible for EHS training program and implementation and tracking through LMS.
- Maintaining training records including training renewal dates.
- Provide data/ material for trainings on client portals.
- Develop Dudek EHS training materials.
- Manage and coordinate all Medical surveillance for Dudek employees
- Coordinate and conduct fit testing for respirator program.
- Inputting and maintaining all data, records, and trainings on client portals.
- Tracking training requirements on client portals and assigning training as needed.
- Implements and trains practices on project safety paperwork and requirements.
- Assist with the development of Dudek EHS Programs, Policies, and Procedures.
- Support the implementation of firmwide safety initiatives, adapting approaches to meet local needs and conditions.
- Conduct field safety visits and audits to monitor compliance and reinforce a culture of safety when needed.
- Track metrics and ensure compliance with the Company, Client, State, and Federal requirements.
- Assist in EHS program development, review, and implementation.
- Support EHS Team in maintaining and improving companywide safety metrics and dashboards.
- Manage various client portals with document, data, and training requirements.
- Assist EHS team in tracking client training requirements on client portals and assign training as needed.
- Ensure operations comply with federal, state, and local EH&S regulations (including Cal/OSHA).
- Coordinate and assign safety training in client portals and internal systems.
- Provide SME support to teams developing HASPs as needed
- Associates, Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field and/or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years’ experience in environmental health and safety.
- Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team.
- Understanding of Workers Compensation laws.
- Basic understanding of Hazard recognition, controls, and program implementation.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment.
- Demonstrated success in managing and improving EH&S training programs in a distributed, fast-paced work environment.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to influence and motivate others toward safe behavior.
- Experience working with safety management software, training tracking systems, and client portals.
- OSHA Certifications:
- OSHA 510/511
- OSHA 30 Hour certification
- 40 Hour HAZWOPER
*Final agreed-upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location. - This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.
- This job may also require occasional project site visits, based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, and moving vehicles and equipment.
