Made in New Jersey since 1982.What You Will DoThe National Sales Manager is responsible for the brand’s overall achievement of annual sales goals and key account objectives. The role will oversee the direction of national sales performance and maintain and grow sales in the U.S. This hands-on position works closely with the President and a broker network to strategize, determine, and achieve sales objectives and targets. As an ambassador of the brand, the National Sales Manager will represent the brand at trade shows, account meetings, and other events.Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new accounts at the distributor and retailer levels
  • Grow and proactively maintain and care for current accounts and relationships with key contacts to increase velocities and presence on shelf
  • Implement sales programs including promotions and other sales incentives; review and analyze their performance
  • Administrative work for item setup, promotions and related activities
  • Plan and participate in trade shows, demos, education/trainings and other B2B and B2C events
  • Manage broker relationships and performance
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing where necessary
  • Leverage performance data, trends, and customer feedback for guidance
  • Remain informed on industry trends, news and developments, category performance, and competitor activities.
  • Contribute expertise and past experience to sales program development and marketing activities

  • At least 5 years working in specialty food, specifically in deli with charcuterie and/or specialty cheese
  • Natural and conventional channel experience highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with preference given to degrees in Business or similar fields, but not necessary
  • Established key connections within the category
  • Experience with customer portals and CRM systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
  • Must have a driver’s license and live in close proximity to a major U.S. airport
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of the time
