Accounts Payable Administrator

- Manage end-to-end invoice processing: intake, routing, accurate coding, and 2/3-way PO/receipt matching; clear holds and missing receipts.
- Prepare and process payments (check, ACH, wire) on schedule; optimize terms/discounts and prevent late fees.
- Serve as the escalation point for vendor inquiries; resolve discrepancies and disputes while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Receiving, and other teams to clear variances and keep processes running smoothly.
- Reconcile the AP subledger to the general ledger, clear reconciling items, and support month-, quarter-, and year-end accruals.
- Maintain complete AP documentation; produce aging and cash-requirements/forecast reports and other periodic AP reports.
- Enforce policies and internal controls, mitigate AP risks, and provide required documentation for internal and external audits.
- Upload AP data from Oracle to analyze banking, payment errors, and invoice bookings.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with general ledger systems and accounts payable processes.
