Kforce has a client that is seeking an Application Developer in West Bend, WI. Overview: Primary responsibilities include supporting both front-end and back-end applications by identifying and resolving production environment issues. Using tools like Splunk, you will be proposing short- and long-term solutions, developing and deploying bug fixes. This involves assessing downstream application impacts, performing integration testing, writing automated test cases, and executing data updates. Additional responsibilities include maintaining team runbooks, fulfilling support requests such as data corrections and clean-up activities, and restarting failed jobs in Control-M and other batch systems. The role may also involve applying cloud-native practices related to resiliency, scalability, and security. Backend Development: Basic Proficiency:
  • Test automation frameworks, using Postman and/or Visual Studio
  • Cloud-native app resiliency, scalability, fault-tolerance, and virtualization
  • Cloud-native information security design principles
  • Liferay 7.0 or greater
  • Containers, including Kubernetes
Intermediate Proficiency:
  • C#, .NET 6, or .NET Core & .NET Framework
  • Java Frameworks
  • Web services and API development, including REST, SOAP, WSDL standards
  • Postman API tooling
  • Azure Apps, APIM, Service Bus
  • IaC configuration, using Terraform and/or Bicep
Frontend Development: Intermediate Proficiency:
  • ReactJS Framework in Reactive (RxJS), with functional components (Hooks)
  • HTML/DOM, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript
  • Material UI, Styled Components, Storybook UI, Kendo
  • Bundlers (Webpack, Rollup)
  • Browser Compatibility tooling (Babel, Shims, Pollyfill)
  • State management concepts
  • Basic proficiency with test automation frameworks, using Playwright, Jest, and/or Selenium
Security and Quality: Basic Proficiency:
  • Security test automation frameworks, using Synopsis Coverity, Codesight, and/or Black Duck
  • Code linting techniques and tools (e.g., StyleCop, SonarLint, Prettier and/or ESLint)
  • DevOps and Automation
  • Intermediate proficiency with automating release tasks, using PowerShell and/or Python
Basic Proficiency:
  • Azure DevOps test pipelines
  • Azure DevOps administration
  • Test data management
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
