Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Control Room Operator III role in Firebaugh. Our client is a respected leader in the food processing industry, known for advanced production technologies, exceptional product quality, and a strong culture of safety and teamwork. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator to step into a key leadership role within a high-performance control room environment.Key Responsibilities:· Operate and oversee multiple control room systems including Hotbreaks, Fencos, Evaporators, and the Flash Cooler to ensure continuous and efficient operation.
· Serve as a lead operator, coordinating daily production activities and supporting junior team members.
· Monitor critical process parameters to ensure all products meet strict Manufacturing Standard Practices (MSP).
· Perform and document Cleaning In Place (CIP) procedures in compliance with established SOPs.
· Analyze and interpret real-time process data to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
· Conduct equipment inspections, monitor pump seals and cooling systems, and ensure preventative measures are in place to avoid downtime.
· Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Sanitation, and Maintenance teams to maintain high operational standards.
· Provide thorough shift pass-downs and lead by example in communication, safety, and accountability.
· Support the training and onboarding of new control room operators.
· Safely transport process samples to the lab, ensuring QA protocols are met.Qualifications:· 4+ years of experience operating complex production or control systems in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
· Demonstrated expertise in at least three control systems: Hotbreaks, Fencos, Evaporators, Flash Cooler.
· Proven leadership skills and the ability to guide and mentor team members.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
· Proficiency in using computer-based control panels and digital reporting tools.
· Forklift and man lift certifications preferred (or ability to obtain).
· High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications highly desirable.
· Ability to read and interpret safety, production, and technical documents in English.
· Solid math skills for calculating process measurements, weights, and product volumesPhysical Requirements:· Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
· Frequent climbing, bending, reaching, and use of manual tools and valves.
· Regular exposure to hot, humid, and noisy production environments.
