Johnson College is currently seeking an Academic and Program Coordinator. The Academic and Program Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support for the Health Sciences Programs to include the Veterinary Nursing, Radiologic Technology, and Physical Therapy Assistant programs. This position oversees the day-to-day program functions, assists faculty and students, and ensures compliance with accreting standards, During the summer months, the Coordinator will serve in an expanded role supporting academic operations across all programs.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Coordinate daily operations and administrative support for assigned health sciences programs.
  • Maintain student and program records, accreditation files, and handbooks.
  • Assist faculty with scheduling, budget tracking, and program reporting.
  • Communicate with students, faculty, clinical partners, and accrediting bodies.
  • Organize Program Advisory Committee meetings and other program events.
  • Serve as Academic Coordinator during summer months, supporting academic projects, reporting, and student/faulty needs across all programs.
  • Participate and be an active member in assigned campus committee(s)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:Associate's degree preferred, health sciences or related field a plus.EXPERIENCE:A minimum of two years of administrative experience, preferably in an academic or healthcare setting.SKILLS:
  • Strong organizational, communication and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license
