- Developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods to achieve improved quality, product cost, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Implement knowledge of design, materials/components, fabrication, welding, and paint process, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality standards.
- Research, design, develop and maintain product fixtures and machine tools, processes, and shop layout.
- Lead sustaining engineering projects such as driving and sustaining Bills of Materials, processing routings and modifications, building and maintaining visual work instructions, help in developing training checklists, etc.
- Handle projects from concept, design; capital appropriation requests; and qualification within project schedules and budgets
- Minimum of 2 years related experience in a machining/manufacturing environment and CNC machining including trouble shooting, generating new programs, modifying existing programs, developing or helping to develop PM programs etc.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with SAP software
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Solidworks, and/or similar software, Microsoft Office and ability to interpret technical drawing specifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
- 5 + years' of validated experience in a machining/manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Knowledge of problem-solving fundamentals.
- Knowledgeable on automated processes, robotics, PLC controls and programming
- Plant network systems experience
- Knowledge and application of LEAN Manufacturing techniques
The pay range for this position is $73,500 - $126,000 annually.
