This individual will propose new technology, create innovative design solutions, execute design reviews, work directly with customers, and support testing of the ejection seat products. This position is a Design Engineer within Dynamic Systems Engineering.What You Will DoPerform analysis to resolve ejection seat dynamic system design challenges.Support through all phases of design including: bid and proposal, conceptual design, preliminary design, detailed design, qualification testing, new product introduction, production implementation, and in-production support.Successfully execute on design/project tasks required to develop and qualify aircraft ejection seats by ensuring technical scope integrity and budget/schedule accuracyWork as part of a cohesive team with test engineering, product engineering, system engineering, and program managementSupport program by technical writing presentations and reports for customer approvalSupport Program Management with any preparation of bids and proposalsSupport Systems Engineering on requirements analysis and the requirement compliance plan.Interacts with Business Development department to ensure customer satisfaction and business strategiesQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related fieldPrevious experience / knowledge of physics, dynamics, and staticsExperience presenting design solutions to internal and external customers3D CAD experience with high end CAD software (e.q. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
