Peregrine Team is hiring for a Director of Facilities & Operations in Los Angeles, CA. This position is a full-time, contract to hire role with full benefits and competitive pay.About the RoleWe’re seeking an experienced Director of Facilities & Operations to lead facility management across our portfolio of owned and leased properties. You’ll oversee facilities strategy, day-to-day operations, renovations, security, parking, custodial, fleet management, and sustainability initiatives. This role is both strategic and hands-on — ensuring our facilities run efficiently, safely, and sustainably.(170,000+ sq ft facility + 6 remote sites)
Direct HireKey Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead facilities operations across LA HQ and 6 remote sites.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing facilities team and vendor partners.
  • Build and oversee multi-year budgets, contracts, and vendor negotiations.
  • Drive sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Facilities & Asset Management
  • Develop and execute facility business plans and site Master Plan.
  • Oversee renovations, construction projects, and space planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, building, and environmental codes.
  • Operations & Safety
  • Oversee maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment, and fleet.
  • Direct safety, emergency response, and code compliance efforts.
  • Partner with inspectors, architects, and consultants as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education/Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) strongly preferred. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and construction required.
  • Experience: 10+ years in facilities management, including 5+ years in leadership.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, budgeting, vendor management, and communication skills. Customer-focused, collaborative, and solutions-driven.
  • Preferred Certifications: LEED, OSHA Safety, Certified Facilities Manager (CFM), Sustainability Facilities Professional.
Additional Info
  • Supervises facilities managers, coordinators, and vendor partners.
  • Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasional travel to regional sites.
  • Work includes both office and on-site facility environments.
