- Responsible for the modernization, sustainment and operation of the US Army’s Unclassified and SECRET Enterprise Networks. Studies contractor products to determine those which best meet customer needs; assists in presentation of information to management resulting in purchase and installation of hardware, software, and telecommunication equipment. Manages network performance and maintains network security. Ensures that security procedures are implemented and enforced. Installs all network software. Evaluates, develops and maintains telecommunications systems. Troubleshoots network problems. Establishes and implements network policies, procedures and standards and
- Test, implement, deploy, maintain, and administer infrastructure hardware and software for cybersecurity.
- Active DoD TS/SCI
- 12 Years of experience in Enterprise Network engineering or sustainment while enforcing Federal guidance and incorporating industry best practices. Knowledgeable in DoD Enterprise services.
- 10+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s or 8+ years with Master’s with relevant IT degree.
- ITIL Foundations certification required within 3 months of start.
- Certificates in secure network engineering:
- CCNP – or higher
- JNCIA – or higher
- CCNA or GCIA or GCLD or GDSA or GFACT or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP or GCED or GCIH
- Army Training: Information Systems Engineer, Course ABBR NM ESM (EFM), or Course ABBR NM JTF Spectrum Management or Marine Training: Data Systems Chief Course or Network Chief Course
- Demonstrated experience in leading large, technical complex organization. Must have an in-depth understanding of advanced concepts and processes and experience applying these with little to no guidance. Must be able to provide guidance to others. Must be able to perform successfully in complex, unstructured situations.
- Demonstrated success and experience managing contractors in a DoD environment, working with Military and civilian leadership, while obtaining mission success and program profitability.
- Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Army IT operational and technical requirements.
