- Presenting to customers on the capabilities of current products, performance analyses, design information, and requirements verification methods.
- Generating, reviewing, and managing multiple requirements sets that cover all aspects of both performance and nonperformance including mechanical interfaces, electrical interfaces, data requirements, environmental requirements, reliability, and systems safety.
- Awareness and responsiveness to contract milestones and deliverables.
- Working with a team of subsystem engineers and subject matter experts to ensure the designs are sufficient to meet the system requirements.
- Working with integration and test engineers to ensure all requirements are verified through inspection, analysis, demonstration, or test often by providing test and data reduction inputs.
- Collaborate on providing direction to ensure production tests and troubleshooting tests are executed correctly and resulting data conforms to requirements.
- Develop simulation models for propulsion systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) related discipline with 2 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree in STEM related discipline with 0 years of relevant experience
- Strong requirements development and management skills using DOORS (or equivalent software)
- Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate to team members, customers, and suppliers
- Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) related discipline with 5 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree in STEM related discipline with 3 years of relevant experience; or a PhD
- Strong requirements development and management skills using DOORS (or equivalent software)
- Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate to team members, customers, and suppliers
- Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite.
- Familiarity with propulsion systems
- Familiarity with programs or projects in a production phase
- Experience managing system requirements and requirements verification
- Strong requirement development and management skills using DOORS
- Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience with tools like CAMEO
- Familiarity with reliability analysis
- Familiarity with systems safety analysis
