Job Overview:We are seeking two experienced SAP Technical Writer to support a critical ongoing SAP S/4HANA implementation project in Sacramento, CA. This hybrid role involves collaborating with SAP consultants, business analysts, SMEs, and stakeholders to document business processes and develop detailed process flow diagrams. The successful candidate will produce clear, accurate, and comprehensive documentation to facilitate system design, configuration, training, and user adoption. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to a significant digital transformation initiative within a structured and collaborative environment, and perform other duties as assigned.Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years as a Technical Writer, with proven experience on at least one SAP project documenting business processes.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ECC modules and familiarity with S/4HANA implementation environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to document end-to-end business processes and create detailed process flow diagrams using tools like Microsoft Visio.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including SAP consultants, developers, and business stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using process mapping software, content management systems, and document version control tools.
  • Skilled in translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise documentation tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Experience conducting interviews and workshops to gather information from subject matter experts.
  • Familiarity with SAP lifecycle tools such as SAP Solution Manager is a plus.
  • Experience creating training materials, user guides, and quick reference documents.
  • Comfortable working within project methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Ability to manage multiple documentation deliverables and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., utilities) and adherence to documentation compliance standards is preferred.
Experience Preferences:
  • Exposure to S/4HANA projects or upgrades
  • Experience using document management systems for routing and approvals
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to work onsite in Sacramento, CA as needed
  • Sit or work at a desk/computer for extended periods
  • Participate in virtual meetings and in-person workshops
  • Occasionally move around an office environment
Education Requirements:
