Locations: New York, NY, or Norwalk, CT OnlyWorking Environment: HybridThe Director for EMS New Business Development will be responsible for establishing and executing a plan to build the global pipeline for FY’24 and beyond for FactSet’s Portware Enterprise offering. They will strive to increase FactSet’s visibility in the buy-side trading landscape across institutional asset managers, asset owners, and hedge funds by utilizing their network and track record.This exciting role will be highly visible globally, and will partner with the leadership team across FactSet to maximize prospect outreach leveraging FactSet’s existing and extensive networks across hundreds of clients.This opportunity requires a candidate who has delivered excellent sales results, developed and closed large revenue deals and built relationships with large & strategic clients. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a deep and broad knowledge of buy side front office trading and execution workflows, market structure across asset classes, competing and complementary technology solutions available in the market.This role will report directly into the Global Head of Sales and Account Management for FactSet’s Trading business.Responsibilities:Build, manage, and execute on a pipeline for FactSet's Portware Enterprise offering globallyEstablish relationships with C-level and key contacts at clients, contribute to strengthening FDS brand by representing FactSet at key events.Be knowledgeable about client processes, knowledge of buy-side trading, firm-type and local market conditions and requirements, develop trust and commitment with key playersFirm-type and market-specific lead gen and prospecting initiatives, collaborate with Marketing and local event providersRequired Skills:Bachelor’s degree required10+ years of experience requiredDemonstrated people leadership experienceAbility to build relationships with FactSet executives and CXOs of clients and prospectsStrong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire confidence and maintain composure in stressful situationsBroad and up-to-date knowledge of the financial technology industry including trends and market demandsEntrepreneurial & strong sense of initiativeStrong focus on capturing industry trends and competitors landscapeUnited States applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureWhat’s In It For You:
