HR Works is conducting an exclusive search for an HR Generalist, for its client, a Manufacturing company in Rochester, NY. This is a Direct Placement Opportunity and is fully onsite.The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for supporting the HR Manager with various functions within the Human Resource department, including talent management, recruitment, orientation and onboarding, LMS administration and training, scheduling, tracking, and administering of safety training, HRIS reporting, payroll backup, compliance, benefits, including retiree benefits, leave administration, and administration of company policies. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic HR Generalist who enjoys cultivating a positive work environment for employees, has a true internal-customer service focus and is ready to grow in their comprehensive HR skills.Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field required
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources supporting all areas of HR is required
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
  • A strong background in benefits administration is preferred but not required
  • A background working in a unionized environment is preferred but not required
