This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and their families, helping them achieve milestones and improve their quality of life through skilled therapy services.Job Description:As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist in Minot, ND, you will work directly with children to evaluate, plan, and implement therapy programs that support developmental, motor, and sensory needs. You will make a significant impact on your patients' lives by helping them overcome challenges related to their daily activities and play.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children’s physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that support the child’s growth, learning, and ability to perform everyday tasks.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions that enhance motor skills, sensory integration, and social interactions.
  • Work closely with parents and caregivers to develop home programs and strategies that foster continued progress.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, speech therapists, and educators, to provide holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in case discussions and share expertise with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Education and Certification Requirements:
  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in North Dakota.
  • Pediatric Occupational Therapy experience preferred but not required.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-based environment.
