This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving the lives of patients through innovative therapy interventions and who thrives in a supportive, collaborative environment.Job Description:As an Occupational Therapist in Minot, ND, you will play a key role in helping patients regain or develop the skills needed for daily living and working. Your expertise will be integral in creating personalized therapy programs, providing ongoing evaluations, and supporting patients through their rehabilitation journey.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient conditions and design individual therapy plans based on their needs.
  • Administer treatments to assist patients in improving motor skills, sensory processing, and daily functioning.
  • Work closely with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and communicate updates with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Educate patients and their families on home exercises and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
  • Provide ongoing motivation and support to patients as they work toward their rehabilitation goals.
Education and Certification Requirements:
  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Occupational Therapist licensure in North Dakota.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and provide compassionate care.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans as needed.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of current occupational therapy practices and best approaches.
