- Manage the Delivery, Production, Dispatch, Shop and Sales departments.
- Responsible for developing new accounts in the concrete ready mix business while leading a sales team and cultivating relationships with customers.
- Preparing and submitting budgets for the department, as well as monitoring expenditures against the approved budget plan.
- Coordinate and execute special projects, such as Capex.
- Providing assistance and sales support to customers regarding product information, mix design and other information necessary to promote usage of product.
- Assisting the Accounting Department with resolving concerns or questions..
- Preparing and submitting reports and information summarizing marketing activities and results..
- Ensure maintenance and safety of plants and equipment.
- +5 years of operation/production/sales experience in the readymix field. Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
- Sales and marketing skills, including the ability to generate and convert leads
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in individual and group settings
- Negotiation and problem resolution skills, exercising a great deal of creativity
- Ability to build and maintain professional and client relationships
- Good organization and follow-through skills, as well as time and territory time management skills
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and other desktop programs
- This position requires a substantial amount of day travel, including visiting customers, plants and construction sites
