Degree Level: High School GraduateJob Description:This position requires an active Secret clearance.We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to design, implement, and maintain IT systems that support business operations. This role involves troubleshooting, optimizing system performance, and ensuring system reliability while working with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.Compensation & Benefits:Estimated Starting Salary Range for System Engineer: Pay commensurate with experience.Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.System Engineer Responsibilities Include:

Design, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems across multiple platforms.
Provide ongoing support for system installation, upgrades, and patch management.
Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand system requirements and integrate solutions.
Perform system backups, disaster recovery, and ensure data integrity.
Document system configurations, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software systems.
Ensure system security through proper configuration and maintenance of firewalls, access controls, and encryption.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

System Engineer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in system engineering or a related role.
Knowledge of system architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting (Linux, Windows, or both).
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Security+ CE preferred.
Familiarity with monitoring and automation tools.
