Aspire Bakeries champions the values of Integrity, Ownership, Customer Focus, Creativity and Care to help us deliver on People Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Collaboration.The Operator 3, Relief is responsible for ensuring line 7 positions (Mixer, Sheeter, Oven, Packing and others) are properly covered throughout the scheduled breaks during the daily production run and filling in full time on days that require it.Responsibilities:
  • Follow all job specific responsibilities for each area outlined in the respective job descriptions
  • Collaborate closely with machine Operators and Leads.
  • Follow all applicable job procedures as outlined in equipment manuals and Aspire SOPs.
  • Through Aspire AOE training understands and uses Centerline and CIL daily management systems
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving process
  • Performs area walk daily to detect issues & defects to help reduce and maintain waste levels
  • Follows standard work procedures and trains others on current best approach to minimize system variation
  • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing improvement ideas with management and actively engaging in AOE pillar activities.
  • Adhere to GMPs and Health and Safety rules outlined in the employee handbook
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance with food safety practices
  • Additional tasks may be assigned as needed
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • At least 6 months as an Ingredient operator or related experience
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced production or packing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and operate mixing process controls and makes adjustments when necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of dough mixing and operating mixing equipment
  • Ability to write clearly and legibly and possess basic effective verbal and written skills in English.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to work with computers and operating screens.
